My name is Valeriia Astakhina and I am a photographer of newborns and families in Helsinki area, Finland.

I rarely take photos of expecting mother, but sometimes do as an exemption ☺️ And here is one of the examples.

Corona updates👍 important!!!

Lately I've been asked if it is safe to have newborn photo sessions in current corona situation.
And therefore I'll just describe here all preventive actions I implemented to reduce the risk as much as possible.

1. I've got 3rd vaccination a week ago, so now I have the maximum possible protection.
2. I always use mask when I come to Customer's home and wash my hands + disinfect them.
3. I don't use public transport. I have my own car.
4. Since I'm foreigner here, I have very few friends and I don't even meet with them to minimize my contacts nowadays.
5. If needed, I can make home corona test right before photo session.

I hope this opened up a little bit for you my Customers how much of efforts I put to keep myself and you safe.

Usually newborn photo session is recommended to be done during first 2 weeks of baby's life, but this kind of wrapping and set-up is suitable for babies until they are 1 month old 😊 👆 Good option for mini session for those who are a bit late to order newborn session 😉😊

When taking newborn photos I like to combine classic posed baby photos with lifestyle family photos. This way you'll get all the variety of photos and we can capture real emotions and closeness of the family. I take newborn photos only at your home so that you can relax and be yourself 😇😊
