Testing my new lense Nikkor Z160-600 F5. F5. 6 - 6.3 in winter circumstances (-17 celsius). The lense is light, autofocus is fast & accurate - I love it! 🌬️📷

Uusi putki pakkastestissä : Nikkor Z160-600 F5. 6 - 6.3 (-17 celsius). Putki on kevyt, automaattitarkennus liimaa hienosti ja on nopea, ei voi kuin tykätä 👍🌬️📷.

Greetings from the Gulf of Finland. I have photographed White-tailed eagles on the ice here - more photos in the coming days. The temperature has been a comfortable -15 Celsius in beautiful calm weather. 📷🦅❄️🌬️

The Beginning of a New Era

I’m a bit late to the game, but I’ve finally moved from the world of DSLRs to mirrorless. My trusted Nikon D850 will semi-retire as a backup body, and my main camera is now Nikon’s mirrorless flagship, the Z9. I’ve been testing the Z9 for a couple of days, and it seems to be an absolute fantastic Beast. The autofocus, which includes on-sensor bird detection, is totally amazing—combined with 20 frames per second burst shooting, it’s an unbeatable combination. My trusted Nikon 500 mm F4 FL lens works beautifully with the FTZ II adapter. I also have to mention that the Z9’s noise handling is in a completely different league compared to the D850.

Uuden aikakauden alku

Vähän olen tässä jälkijunassa, m***a nyt olen vihdoinkin siirtynyt peilikameroiden maailmasta peilittömien puolelle. Vanha luottokamerani Nikon D850 saa siirtyä osa-aika eläkkeelle vararungoksi ja ykköskameraksi vaihtui Nikonin peilitön lippulaiva Z9. Olen testaillut Z9:ä parina päivänä ja loistavalta vaikuttaa. Automaattitarkennus jossa on kennossa mm. linnuntunnistus on aivan fantastinen, tämä yhdistettynä 20 raw-kuvaa sekunnissa sarjakuvaukseen on aivan lyömätön yhdistelmä (tällähän voi laukoa jpg kuvia 120 kuvaa sekunnissa). Vanha luottoputki Nikonin 500 mm F4 FL toimii Nikonin FTZ II sovittimen kanssa upeasti. Täytyy vielä mainita että kohinan sieto Z9:ssä on D850 verrattuna aivan omaa luokkaansa.
