Week 6 of the Freelance Diaries.

This week, I was properly back behind the camera. Tacos one day, tapas the next. Moving plates around, looking for the right angle and trying to get the shot before the food loses its patience.

Somewhere between the photoshoots, editing and carrying my camera bag around Helsinki, there was still time for a game of tennis.

Nothing extraordinary happened. Just a full, productive week and a fairly honest picture of freelance life.

Last week of the holiday was in Spain. 🇪🇸

I spent a few days in Girona and Barcelona, and by pure luck we stumbled across the filming of Disney’s live-action Rapunzel. ✨🎬

Editing this video also made me miss those croquetas and a proper runny tortilla. 🤤

Now I’m back in Finland wondering…
Where did summer go? ☀️

Episode 3: Weekly Freelance Diaries — Vacation Edition ✈️

A different kind of freelance week.

I’m officially on vacation, but as every freelancer knows, work doesn’t completely disappear, it just comes with a different view. 🌊💻

This week, I traded my usual office in Helsinki for trains, croissants, beaches, and new cities across the south of France. 🇫🇷

Between exploring Marseille, Avignon, and Montpellier, I was still answering emails, scheduling content, checking in with clients, and making sure everything stayed on track back home.

Episode 2: Weekly Freelance Diaries from Helsinki 🇫🇮

Two seagulls tried to steal a taco during a photoshoot this week. 🌮😂

I wish I’d caught the whole thing on camera, but all I have are the memories of running across the restaurant terrace while everyone watched.

The rest of the week included photographing live music, trying my first Venezuelan arepa, and spending another week doing what I love behind the camera.

No two freelance weeks are ever the same.
