Attunement

The attunement was a forgotten path,
Not even a shred of a possibility.
A memory through touch and sound
Had been evaporated by time and naked arrogance.

Yet it was still latent, sleeping, waiting for a need,
Listening to a gentle rippling pulse.
A seed, rising from the innards of the earth,
To awaken the forgotten love.

Written in the music’s core
Was a bond, beyond doubt.
A dance was enough to spark
A circulating flame.

La Afinación

La afinación era un sendero olvidado,
Ni siquiera un vestigio de una posibilidad.
Una memoria a través del tacto y del sonido
Había sido evaporada por el tiempo y la arrogancia desnuda.

Y aun así permanecía latente, dormida, esperando una necesidad,
Escuchando un pulso suave y ondulante.
Una semilla, que asciende desde las entrañas de la tierra,
Para despertar el amor olvidado.

Escrito en el núcleo de la música
Había un vínculo, sin lugar a duda.
Una danza bastaba para encender
Una llama circulante.

First there was that glitch
A small black blotch widening
Twisting, turning, shaping
I thought I saw a rock blinking
Did you notice that?
A slight change of colour
A shift in position.
You could imagine it watched you
In slow motion.
The stone I mean,
That rock, right there.
Smirking.

Primero estuvo ese fallo
Una pequeña mancha negra que se ensanchaba
Retorciéndose, girando, tomando forma
Creí ver una roca parpadeando
¿Lo notaste?
Un leve cambio de color
Un desplazamiento de posición.
Podías imaginar que te observaba
A cámara lenta.
La piedra, quiero decir,
Esa roca, justo ahí.
Sonriendo con sorna.

This time I took part in a PenJa’m improv session as a painter. Normally I do photography, but this time I was painting with live music and dance as my source of inspiration. ❤️❤️ In Villanue a de Vivir. Always a great atmosphere and good vibes..
