Dylan & London, Mallorca

They asked their people to cross an ocean to reach S’Era de P**a, and everyone came.

Some weddings are built around tradition. This one was built around joy, around a couple who refuses to take any of it too seriously, and a guest list that matched their energy from the first toast to the last song.

By the end of the night, nobody wanted to leave Mallorca.

A day that moved at its own pace. Unhurried, and entirely theirs.

A bride. But first, a woman.

That’s the difference.

That’s what I’m here to photograph.

Kath & Alex.
Castillo de Arteaga, Basque Country.

They flew in from the States and got married in a castle built for an empress. Then we drove to the edge of the Atlantic and made portraits on a cliff with the wind doing whatever it wanted with the veil.

That is the Basque Country. It does not ask permission.

Eva & Eric, Sábado, Bellasombra House

They crossed an ocean to say yes in Seville.

Eva and Eric chose to marry far from home, in a city that had never been theirs, and by the end of the day it was.

What stays with me from Saturday is not the ceremony, but everything that happened around it, the way two families arrived as strangers and left as one.

Gabrielle & Ross.
Jardines de Alfabia, Mallorca.

They flew in from Louisiana to get married in a 13th-century estate in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana. The cobblestone clastra, the palmeral, the lake, the spring light filtering through the palms.

The day before, a catamaran in the bay of Palma. The cathedral in the distance, the water, the two of them. That is how a story like this one begins.

Real moments. No rush. No one watching the clock.

There are weddings you plan for years. And then there’s the moment none of it matters anymore, just the two of you.
