Founder of Jae Rae Photographer, Joanna Rae is a young photographer who has reached out of any limit of the studio. In fact, she has reached to parts of the world where people have never seen, parts of the world that are as remote as a small village that no one knew of before. This is where Jae Rae Photography gains her inspiration to seek photos out of the reach of where others would go, providin

g a sensual portfolio of nature, wildlife and a element of anthropology to her test in photography. Joanna has graduated in Fine Art at the Duncan of Jordanstone in June 2010, also where she decided to take up photography as a life long career. Jae Rae Photography is seeking to find the ideal wonders of the cultures she travels to, through methods such as hitch hiking, and driving deep into the essence of the native depth of each country she tours in. In the latter, She wishes to use her travel experiences into portraying an image that is accepted to everyone, of a realistic approach to life that is sometimes displayed as a one sided, narrow understanding of that core of story.

Upon returning to madre tierra of Bolivia, I stumble upon a capoeira gathering, a blend of martial arts to locomotive movement with the background of Brazilian instruments and chanting as each session is conducted with two people. What a beautiful first encounter to return.

The force of our energy, the sea, the bay and the sky. Nothing beats getting soaked in a splendour manner than watching this beauty for ever 🫶🏻

It’s amazing to return not only to the seaside but actually back to the Spanish coast where the coastal treasures of distant memories always remain upon each visit here.

Many closed down village schools remain in a degrading state yet whilst discovering inside this cute yet dampened school in the village of Lita in Romania, I stumbled upon instructions and authoritarian text amungst educational material dating back circa 1979-1980.

Here are photos of a fascinated discovery where of many other forgotten schools are left in a degrading state yet with left behind educational material like this school. It begs me to wonder…

A good soldier never leaves a man left behind 🎺💂🏼‍♀️

On a daily basis, palace guards from the government building of casa de pueblo assemble and disassemble the flags representing Bolivia, La Paz amongst flags representing the people of Bolivia, the Whipala.
