Ourense decided a bridge wasn’t exciting enough, so they added a giant stairway that goes UP… and UP… down and UP.

And Dan decided to celebrate his birthday by taking up bridge climbing. We made it to the top, … although we will NOT be doing this professionally. 🤣

Not exactly gordito-friendly, but hey—if it doesn’t challenge you, it’s probably not a very good adventure! ❤️😂

The tomatoes are tomatoing. 🍅
The onions are onioning (not pictured). 🧅
The sunflowers are sunflowering. 🌻
The corn seems to be well on its way to corning. 🌽😂

The pumpkin and cucumbers, however, seem to have adopted a very relaxed approach to personal growth. 🎃🥒

I’m taking lazy gardening to the extreme—no rhyme or reason, visiting the plants when I feel like it rather than when they probably need me, letting them do their thing, and then taking all the credit when something actually grows. 😂 I’m basically just growing things that are pretty, useful, or preferably both.

Anyone else practicing the art of “let’s see what happens” gardening?

Tonight we traded Galicia for a little taste of Mexico! 🎶💃🌶️

Good food, music, dancing and a whole lot of fiesta vibes in Avión. Definitely not a bad way to spend a summer night!

One minute we were enjoying a quiet drive... the next, we found ourselves passing a field full of freshly shaved sheep and goats. 😂 Then, just as we were leaving, a few massive guardian dogs appeared, making sure everyone stayed exactly where they belonged. Galicia has the best roadside entertainment!
