Entrepreneur and a dreamer, she learned everything she had to learn to make a living and to dedicate herself with her heart and soul to what makes her smile - photography! She photographs love stories in a very personal and intimate way. She likes to meet new people, who enjoy life and who dream about beautiful days. She likes to be asked to photograph those love stories, by creative and happy people. Claudia also loves animals, though she has a soft spot for 4 legged ladies and gentlemen who bark! Actually she owns what is known as the best dog in the world... her own world, at least. A walk around the city before a wedding proposal yesterday.

Madrid was packed, the terrazas full with people, the sun was out and it was such a lovely afternoon. And there was also the Marathon going on, so extra people in the city.

And the cherry on the top? The bride-to-be said YES!!!

One thing I missed the most after becoming a mother (among so many others) was to be able to set my own time.

And I remember being pregnant and the lovely owner of a wedding venue (mom of 5 may I add) asking me if I was ready to give up my freedom for a few years, to which I replied smiling that at 37 I was ok with letting go of it for a little while, as I had enough years of focusing only on myself. I was so naive though! Ah!

I fondly remember strolling around Lisbon for hours and hours, just taking pictures for the sake of my love for the city, its charm, its beautiful corners, its old soul that was still so much alive. This was about 10/15 years ago. I had all the time in the world.

Now in 2026 and not living in the country anymore, I wonder if these corners still exist, if these buildings are still up, or if the streets have changed enough to notice some differences.

“A year in the life”
One photo per month of 2025.

These photographs aren’t loud.

They don’t document breaking news.

They’re fragments of another year lived in Madrid in movement, in attention.

In times that feel heavy and uncertain about what comes next, I find myself holding onto what is still gentle.

Not to escape reality, but to stay human inside it.

While big things unfold in the world, the truth is each one of us keeps living our own lives with our own challenges and rhythms.

Protecting small moments of joy feels less like indifference and more like care.

In 2026, I want to give more space to personal work, more street photography, more time observing Madrid, and continuing my personal branding project with creatives here.

No rush.
Just attention.

15 years of Kobe and our first snow in Madrid and his first snow ever! Perfect day!

This past year there were a few moments where we thought Kobe wouldn’t make it to Christmas. He was always very tired, breathing heavily… but then fall came and he gained his usual energy! We were as certain as one can be that he would be with us for a little while more!

We spent Christmas at home and our family came to us, we spent NYE just the five of us at home and felt really good to be honest! And we have made it to his 15th birthday, which in dog years is a HUGE blessing!

As long as he is doing well we are delighted to have his company for how long as he is willing to grace us with his love and soft fur, though we know this might be our last year.

Thank you for being the most beautiful dog!

❤️

It’s been a while since my last time here, hasn’t it?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

One of my goals for 2026 is definitely be more present here, which usually is the opposite, because people want to spend less time on social media, right? But as I spend so very little and I kind of… have a business, I HAVE to spread the word about it!

So, second year living in Madrid and this was such a great year! So many new clients, different sessions, new locations, new routes through the city, sunrise photo sessions… I’m just deeply grateful 🙏🏻

We are now living one of my favorite seasons and this is what Madrid looks like in December. I went on a stroll after being sick for a few days and it was so good to wander around the city without schedules!

Looking forward for another year!

See you in 2026!

2 years of this beautiful little girl!!

They were the second family I photographed when i moved to Madrid and they will always have a special place in my heart!

We went to Retiro once again, they lived close by a few years ago, and we did our first session there, so it makes sense to come back. It’s such a beautiful way to compare the photos year after year!

On the first day of September I was coming back home from shooting a wedding in Portugal and had to make a pit stop for a family photo shoot in Villanueva de la Vera.

It was an American family who was staying there and they thought a photo shoot would be a wonderful idea to remember these days.

To say it was hard to get to the house is an understatement 🙈 Google Maps kept telling me to either go through private properties or through walls that looked like they had been there for decades, if not more.

45’ later I was almost giving up and just driving until I could no longer keep going with my car, and then walk up to the house. But eventually I made it up there with my car!

The photo shoot went amazing and the house was a dream! I just imagined myself with my family and friends spending a few days there!

This sweet family visited Madrid all the way from the US, and we met at 8am to catch the soft light, cooler air and quieter streets.

We strolled through Barrio de las Letras and ended up near Almudena Cathedral, it was such a beautiful morning!

They were such a joy to photograph. Like I always say, bring your personality into the photos and let go of what you think you’re supposed to do or look like. Just wait until you see the father-and-son moment, everyone got “military dad” involved and played along, and it was perfect!

Barbate • Cadiz

We spent a few days in Barbate this past August and it was so beautiful. Everything slows down in Andalucía to be honest and I’m here for it!

The sea felt endless, the beaches seemed to go on forever (which is a plus when everyone goes either south or north in the summer), and the almadraba tuna made for our memorable summer lunches! Each day we tried a new restaurant and as this was the second year we went for beach vacations just the four of us, we felt like we found our rhythm.

Obviously I always try to sneak out and go for a walk with my camera, trying to capture little quirks of the town!

They came to Madrid for a few days to celebrate their first wedding anniversary ✨

We met early in the morning, when the city was still quiet and almost dark. The streets were empty, and we had so much fun wandering through the charming side streets around Gran Vía.

I know Gran Via is a huge thing in Madrid, but for me it’s always so stressful to photograph there with so much going on and so many people around. I’ll have the unknown streets and three story buildings with iron balconies every day of the week!
