A spontaneous test shoot with my Pentax 645n replacement.

Went on a walk and picked some tiny flowers, asked my sister to borrow her for 10 minutes, and picked up my macro 120mm lens. This is what we captured. 🌼

Sometimes, my images reach someone at the right time, and everything aligns.

I met Rosario over the winter, and she told me about a personal project she was working on, and how she was missing some photos to accompany. She told me about her encounter with cancer, her recovery and a craving to share her story.

A few months later, we met again and captured these portraits. The rest are sitting safely until her project is ready.

So, here is Rosario, embracing her cancer battle scars. It’s an honour to be trusted in capturing someone so willing to be seen. Thank you R Ø S A R I ⭕️ 🤍
