During family sessions I always ask the parents if they want photos of them, of the couple. Almost every time they say no. But what they don’t know is that I was just being polite by asking, because I AM making photos of them! It’s so easy to forget about “us” when we have kids. So I make sure the parents have a moment to themselves so I can capture them. Just them, the family they were before they had children ❤️ and they always love those photos 😉

A sun-kissed baby bump and the sweetest parents to be! I’ve been on a roll of newborn and intimate at-home maternity sessions lately, so it was wonderful to have a change and be out in the wild and capture them as the sun was setting. I simply love photographing in the middle of nature 🌱 what do you like best?
