We have loved our few days in Kratie, lovely little place on the Mekong River such friendly people, it’s time to move on today. If you come to Kratie we can highly recommend the Sorya Guesthouse, it’s right on the river front, lovely views from the balcony restaurant & a wonderful kayaking tour on the Mekong to see the Irrawaddy Dolphins!

Amazing afternoon kayaking on the Mekong, it’s a very strong current so hard work but so worth it!! seeing the endangered Irrawaddy Dolphins was awesome! 🐬 the count last month puts the numbers at 105 slowly increasing! 🙌

Yesterday we took a minibus from Phnom Penh to Kratie with Virak Buntham Express, cost was £12 each. Definitely can recommend, it only took 4 hrs, was air conditioned and comfortable 👍 now here having breakfast looking out on the Mekong River. Today we hope to get to see the Irrawaddy Dolfins 🤞
