Watching this Solar eclipse was stunning and this was my first ever totality, which I will never forget. I captured these images in Haza, in Northen Spain.
This composite image shows the partial phases of the eclipse as the moon transitioned across the face of the sun, from first contact in the top left to the final image at sunset in the bottom right. The central three images show second contact diamond ring, the corona at totality and the diamond ring at third contact.
I have created a video of my experience, which goes through camera gear, camera settings, on location preparation, planning photo apps, photographing the eclipse and image post processing. Check out my YouTube link in my bio and subscribe so you don't miss the video.
I'll be doing the same in 2027 for the next total solar eclipse in Southern Spain (I think I could be hooked)

I saw my first Solar Eclipse Totality yesterday and it was absolutely stunning.
Here are some images that I've quickly pulled together today and I'll be creating a video soon so keep an eye out for that (Check out my YouTube link in my bio 😊)
The video will cover camera gear, camera settings, my experience, the on location process for photographing the eclipse and how I'll post process the images.

These initial images show the partial eclipse with sunspots, the diamond ring as it came out of totality, , the partial eclipse as the sun began to set and the eclipse as the sun set.
