At KM Photography, your baby’s safety and comfort are my absolute priority. I have specialist newborn baby safety and posing training, giving me the knowledge and understanding needed to safely handle, support and position newborn babies during their session. Newborns are delicate, and poses should never be forced or attempted without the correct knowledge and understanding of how to safely support your baby. 💝
Every baby is different, and I take the time to work at your baby’s pace. If your little one needs feeding, changing, cuddling or simply a break, we stop. There is never any pressure to rush through a session. My aim is to make the experience relaxed and enjoyable for everyone, including parents and older siblings. 🧑🍼
I believe the difference between a good photograph and a truly beautiful newborn image is often in the smallest details, from carefully positioning tiny fingers and toes, to checking blanket creases, clothing, hair and little facial details, I take the time to make sure everything is just right before I take the photograph. I don't simply take hundreds of images and hope that a few turn out perfectly. I carefully consider the composition, lighting, baby's position and every little detail that will make your final image special. 👣

Your baby's photographs deserve to look like your baby so every image I deliver is individually hand edited by me. I do not rely on AI to alter or recreate your baby's appearance. AI can sometimes change tiny details such as facial features, skin texture, fingers, eyes or other characteristics without you even realising it, for me, those little imperfections and unique features are part of what makes your baby yours! 👶
I take the time to carefully edit each photograph while preserving the natural appearance and personality of your baby. Skin is gently refined, distractions are removed and the image is carefully balanced, but your baby remains your baby, which is why editing takes time, so I can deliver the most perfect gallery.
I understand that bringing a newborn to a photoshoot can feel daunting, particularly when you are tired, whi h is why I bring the studio to you! I want you to feel completely comfortable from the moment we begin, and what better place than in your own home. 🏡
There is plenty of time for cuddles, feeds, nappy changes and breaks, and I will guide you through the session so you don't need to worry about knowing what to do.
For siblings, I also make sure they feel involved and comfortable, rather than expecting them to sit perfectly still for long periods. Some of the most precious photographs can happen naturally between siblings and parents.
Newborn photographs become more valuable as the years pass.
