Just letting things flow into the camera. Today I woke up wanting to talk and edit. I did a thousand things and I still have a lot of energy. I had a great time in the water taking freestyle windsurfing photos with my friend . What a pleasure it is to work with such talented guy. Everything is easy, fast and fun.

If I ever had to build a portfolio using the work of just one athlete, it would probably be 💥

We've done so many shoots together that I lost count years ago.
Most of them followed the same pattern: waking up before everyone else, chasing the first light of the day, waiting for the last light to disappear, checking forecasts, searching for the best conditions, and trying again and again until everything lined up.

But honestly, I don't think the photos were great just because of the light, the wind, or the waves. 🌊💨
A big part of it was the person standing in front of the camera.

Julian has always been one of those athletes who makes your job easy.
Professional, humble, and willing to give 100%, even when nobody was watching.
Over the years, he went from being one of my favorite riders to becoming a great friend.

He doesn't live on the island anymore, and to be honest, he's missed more than he probably knows.
Every time I look back at these photos, I'm reminded of that chapter and all those early mornings that seemed crazy at the time but turned into memories worth keeping.

I guess that's the thing about the best photographs.
They never tell the story of the sport alone.
They also tell the story of the people you meet along the way.

was in Tenerife for his winter training.💥

We didn’t talk much about photos.
We met early, grabbed the gear, and went to see what the day would bring.
No big plans.
Just patience, good light, and the desire to create.
By the end of the day, we came home with some of my favorite photos I’ve taken so far. 😎

And I’m becoming more convinced that, most of the time, the difference isn’t the camera, the location, or even the athlete.

It’s about getting up when nobody else wants to, and being there when things happen.✨🌊

Connections matter.✨

Because when you genuinely connect with someone, it doesn’t matter what sport they do, what job they have, or where life takes them. If there’s a good connection, people find their way back.

I first met through professional windsurfing years ago.
Today, her passion is running, and she came to Tenerife to train with two Norwegian friends.💛
Between training sessions, we headed up to for a quick shoot, and this was the result.✨

A reminder that some of the best opportunities come from the relationships you build along the way. 💥
