Walking through parks in London, we can sometimes get so lost in our thoughts, that the path beneath our feet begins to lead somewhere else.

The trees open, the air shifts, and suddenly the mind carries us to the ocean … to Galicia, to the shoreline, to another walk held somewhere in memory.

Horizon Tale was born from that quiet passage between places: when one moment melts into another, and the city gives way to the sea.

#86 Cotton Sky

There are places where the world forgets its edges. Where the mountain watches in silence. At Lac de Peyre, the cotton grass drifted like scattered clouds, suspended somewhere between reflection and dream.

For a moment, I could no longer tell what was above and what was below. Only that everything felt weightless, as if the landscape had taken a breath and become memory.

What if reality is only the starting point?

Imagination allows us to see beyond what is there. Visualisation lets us rehearse what does not exist yet.
And somewhere between the two, a new reality begins to take shape.

Perhaps we don’t just see the world as it is.
Perhaps we create it, first in the mind, then in life. Reality is what we see. Imagination is what we make possible.

In nature, time is not counted ⏳It is felt. In movement, in silence, in the fleeting light that becomes memory. A magical moment captured last week at Foz do Douro, where the ocean seemed to reach endlessly for the sky, making me realise that perhaps the waves will always chase the clouds.
