Gravity Doesn’t Apply

Last Saturday I finally made it to the seawater bathing area at Barcelona’s Fòrum, a place I’d wanted to photograph for quite some time. What I didn’t expect was to find a group of young men turning the afternoon into an unexpected diving exhibition.

For a few hours, gravity seemed optional.

These are a few moments from an afternoon suspended somewhere between the sky and the sea.

La gravedad no aplica

El sábado pasado por fin llegué a la zona de baño del Fòrum de Barcelona, un lugar que llevaba tiempo queriendo fotografiar. Lo que no esperaba era encontrarme con un grupo de jóvenes que transformaron la tarde en una improvisada exhibición de clavados.

Durante unas horas, la gravedad parecía opcional.

Estos son algunos instantes de una tarde suspendida entre el cielo y el mar.

Sharing less, sharing with intention.

Lately I’ve been resisting the urge to post every photograph I make in pursuit of reach or visibility. Instead, I’m trying to share only the images that feel true to the direction my photography is taking.

This was a quick photograph I made while walking out, but somehow it fits that direction. So here it is.

The mantra remains unchanged: bring your camera everywhere. Slow down. Learn to see. Have fun.
