NO SÓN MERES FOTOGRAFIES

Manifest de suport a Paco Elvira (UPIFC).
L’editorial Akal va publicar el juny del 2022 el llibre Macarras ibéricos. Una història de España a través de sus leyendas callejeras. Van triar per a la coberta una fotografia feta per Paco Elvira el 1979 en què apareix Juan José Moreno Cuenca El vaquilla, que ja va ser publicada prèviament a Interviú, exposada al CCCB el 2009 i publicada a la coberta del llibre Fuera de la ley. Asedios al fenómeno quinqui en la transición española, publicat per l’editorial Comares el 2015. A més, van manipular la fotografia digitalment per disposar de més espai per al títol.

We’re delighted to be involved in and ’s Picturing High Streets campaign. Launching in September and running for 12 months, we’re asking you to uncover the stories behind the shopfronts and post your own photographs on Instagram using 🛍️☕🍻⛪🍟🏪🏛️⛩️

Starting on Wednesday 28 September 2022, you’re invited to join in with a fortnightly challenge that will create a rich and varied picture of our high streets.
