My picture “Circle of life” on Bild last Sunday, the biggest newspaper in Europe and third in the world. I took this picture in Santa Maria island (Açores) with the great help of my friends . This picture took a price in the WPOY 2017. It was a great moment and It reminds me how I miss being out there, in the open ocean. I hope to be there very soon!!

“Diplulmaris antarctica jellyfish at the medusa stage, photographed in the waters of the Antarctic Peninsula. Often found near the surface, its bell can grow up to 18cm in diameter, and they feed mostly on fish larvae and molluscan pteropods.”

Diving into my picture library I found this image which is a metaphor of these days. Our planet is giving us a chance to stop and think over where we are and we are going to. This is a great oportunity to reconsider our future policy... Our planet love us, let’s love it too!! In the image my friend in my favorite island, Santa Maria, with my favorite team

Getting used to confinement at home after a long trip to Japan. The trip back home is been quite stressing because of closing the country threats, but the most shocking event has been find your city completely empty when I was driving home in a taxy. Confinement is going to be time for those little things that we have no time for... some are very important, like spent more time with loved ones. On the other hand, visiting Japan has been a great experience, I've met wonderful people and I discovered a great country. From the wildlife side, Japan is an awesome place!!

A school of bluefish (Pomatomus saltatrix) work as a pack to attack a compact school of horse mackerel. While circling the school of mackerel they keep tight and then some individuals abruptly attack and got some catches. Somewhere in the middle of the bluewilderness!
