We've seen the pictures of the Gondolas, sunsets from Rialto Bridge, domes, cathedrals, sculptures, palaces, gelato and everything you can think of.
I did not expect to be this mesmerised by the Sunrise over the Venetian canals, while I waited for my 6am train.
The city was just waking up. The water taxis had begun for the day. I was one among 3 people watching the sunrise from the bridge. The lights and the colours leaving me spellbound and wishing I didn't have to leave!
This view made this Italian city the hardest to leave.
This was an incidental, non-touristy thing I did which became my favourite image of the whole trip and will forever remain etched in my brain. 💖
