Raunächte — In Germany, the nights between December 24th and January 6th are called "Raunächte". During this time, the boundary between our world and the invisible world becomes thinner, allowing us to connect with it through dreams or intuition. I created these images during the Rauhnächte in Germany, with the subjects and metaphors intuitively coming to me like messages from my subconscious or the invisible world.

I did not take part in the workshop as a participant because I was one of the organisers. Nevertheless, I was able to soak up the mood of the city and photograph it. For me, Berlin and our group on this November weekend were first bright and energetic and then darkly warm.

Ich habe nicht als Teilnehmerin am Workshop teilgenommen, weil ich ihn mit organisiert habe. Trotzdem konnte ich die Stimmung der Stadt auf mich wirken lassen und sie fotografieren. Für mich waren Berlin und unsere Gruppe an diesem November-Wochenende zuerst licht und energetisch und dann dunkelwarm.

I'm a big fan of questioning and have always questioned everything. As a teenager, for example, the general dress code, as a mother the school system among other things, and now the German “raison d'état”, which is nothing more than imperialism and racism in disguise.

I also once thought that Is**** has the right to defend itself. That this “self-defense” has always been nothing but aggression didn't occur to me for a long time.

Now I know. The path to this realization was quick and easy. The evidence is too obvious. But the realization that I have lived half my life with a lie is painful.

I live with the pain, the shame, but also the relief that another veil of my indoctrination as a citizen of the Western, imperialist world has been lifted.

I wish you the same.
People of the Global Majority, I am sorry.

In February I did a fashion shoot for .de Berlin together with .raduenzel_photography and .88v_ .

It was a fun and creative collaboration: very special clothes made from organic merino wool, two beautiful models – with Eva in a double role as photographer and model.

This post is not paid advertising, but I would definitely recommend Vincente. The clothes are soft and extravagant and of exceptionally good quality. The baby knickers and bonnets we got 13 years ago, still look like new even after three children used them.

Today, my heart belongs to the mothers in Palestine whose children were killed by a sadistic, cruel and inhumane occupying power and the complicity, indifference and self-centeredness of the WHOLE WORLD.

My love and compassion are with them today and every day.

My heart reaches out to the tens of thousands of children in Palestine whose mothers were murdered. Children who must live without their mothers today and for the rest of their lives.
