Ihh, I'm so excited to finally share this! 🤩

When I was in Denmark during the summer, I got the pleasure of spending time with the wonderful ladies behind in a studio outside Copenhagen. 💃🏼🙏🏻

Since we met two years ago, it has been a dream to visualise the characters for their upcoming book. 📙

So after a long process, we finally made it happen. 🤌🏼

Now, this is not the official front page for the book, but simply a sneak peak into their crazy-great universe. 🥳🤩

There's still no public release date, but I can't wait to see everything come together at last - also an important milestone for my journey as a photographer 📸

Why the heck spend so much time bothering how to present your stuff? 🤷🏼

Maybe I overdo it, but I love showcasing my photos in various formats, as it's more unique and puts what I do into perspective. 💡

It helps me dream and think bigger. 📽🎞📺

Personally, when I showcase something like this, it's not just about the photo. 📸

It's about the context in which it's used. 🖼

You can say it also acts as a visualisation tool, cool, sí? ✨

I mean, sexiness+sexiness = sexiawesomeness 💃🏼🕺🏼

The question of the day might be: how can you showcase your awesomeness differently? 🧐

To figure out your "calling" in advance is, sorry to say it, stupid. Although I do believe in some sort of attraction towards a cause, a calling itself is not really my thing. 🤷🏼

Heidi here and I share much the same path to finding something closer to what we really like. By going towards one thing we first believe may interest us, another road emerges from the haze. And then another, and another and eventually something clicks. No, it's not a gunshot, even though I thought so too. 📸🔫

I argue that instead of overthinking every life decision through years in a passive state, try out how it actually feels, the very thing that may nudge your consciousness. It is in the active state of mind, where you become good at something, that you may find a cause to work towards. 🙏🏻

3 simple factors to determine whether the path to your dream is good for your lifestyle or not:

1. You can stay healthy (mentally and physically) 🍎
2. It is sustainable - economically 💰
3. It is (mostly) enjoyable 💃🏼🕺🏼

When I construct my life around a dream, or a vision so to speak, I always take these three factors into consideration.

If just one of the three things are not fulfilled, you are most likely to find yourself in a deep pit after a little while. 😪

It may not necessarily be pleasant every day, but making anything succeed will take time - and you better be alive by then, right? 🙏🏻

"Don't just follow your dreams and passion for the sake of some happiness that may never come". As a (previous) speaker of following your dreams and passion, I've recently found a relief in the opposite, derailing from the classical mindset. Instead, the dream is an ever-continuous vision, which will go beyond yourself and the passion is just a by-product of honing your craft - as is happiness, although that's not even something on my list. Controversial, huh?

In just a few weeks I will start my journey into making all of these "original series" posters into actual watchable episodes. 🎥📺

To be more real, it will probably still be a couple of years on the way. 🙈

So in the meantime, I'll let the brainpuke and dreamer-y keep rolling 📽🎞

This is actually a paradoxical positive post...
I chose a life where I suck at most of what I do.
📸 Taking photos
🎹 Playing piano
👨🏻‍🍳 Cooking
🇪🇸 Speaking Spanish
🥸 Being anti-awesome

And that's the whole point of getting better. If you don't suck at some point, you are most likely either not improving, not doing it all it, being an entitled jerk or simply just born with superhuman powers. If it's the latter, please tell me the secret. But everything I choose to suck at usually brings something good, at least a tiny bit. Let's sock some more (I sucked intentionally) 🤙🏼

-I'm back in BCN and looking forward to suck big time this fall. I'm excited. 📽🎞

Getting up close to such enthusiastic people like Wrex, is always a moment I feel thankful for. 🙏🏻

The privilege to be a photographer let me come close to a lot of interesting people and unique opportunities - something I will always appreciate 🙏🏻🕺🏼
