🌎 We have a new home online!
We’re very happy to share the new website of 'Invisible Immigrants. Spaniards in the U.S. (1868–1945)':
This project has grown thanks to the stories, photographs, documents and memories shared by so many families and descendants. Now, all those stories have a new space where they can continue to be discovered, explored and shared.
On the website, you can discover the exhibition, its story and evolution, explore its six chapters, learn about its journey since 2020, and take a closer look at the photographs, documents and memories that form part of the project.
At the heart of this story are also the families and descendants of those emigrants, whose collaboration has been essential in recovering, documenting and bringing many of these stories to light. Their testimonies and the materials they have shared help us reconstruct the experiences of those who made the United States their new home and keep the memory of those who came before them alive.
The website also offers a glimpse into the work of the curators and the team behind the exhibition, as well as some of the research, documentation and creative processes that have shaped the project.
The website is a growing space, and we’ll soon be adding more materials and content, including a dedicated multimedia section.
We hope you enjoy exploring our new home online — and, as always, we’d love to hear from you.
Thank you for being part of this journey!
