There’s a reason they say dancing is a shortcut to happiness. 💃🏻

I almost talked myself out of today’s class. It wasn’t the best morning, I wasn’t in the mood, and honestly, staying home sounded much more appealing. You can probably tell from the videos that I was kind of just going through the motions.

But, despite my mood…I went. And I left feeling better than when I arrived, thanks to Alina Bulgakova and her positive energy and the lovely ladies of our bachata crew. ❤️

After almost 15 years away from dancing, this is my third class. I’m learning to find my rhythm again, reconnect with my body, and to remember that sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is just show up.

So glad I kept this promise to myself and grateful for this lovely group of women. 🙏🏽✨
