🌻 It’s Exam Time | Time to Work for our Dreams
And I’ve had some great questions from friends outside Ireland, wondering when my daughter will receive her Leaving Cert results.

With every paper handwritten (25 + pages for some exams), they can't even be corrected by AI.
It will take the State Examiners months to correct 7 subjects, from 61,600+ students. I honestly don’t know how they do it!.
The date for the results is 22 August, and the first offer letters for further education are coming out 27 August.
This is a torturous process, but my god what an opportunity!

My daughter’s dream is to study science in UL.
I want so much for her to reach her dream and so proud of all the energy she puts into making it come real.

She’s an inspiration | She inspires me to go for my own dream!

June 🌻 A month of intense pressure.
The end is in sight — but the road ahead is still long for the 61,632 students sitting their Leaving Cert exams.
My daughter is one of them.
Right now, she’s giving it her everything! Dreaming of a place in UL.
She’s working hard for her future self.
The energy at home is electric — all focus, freakouts, and fierce resolve.

I imagine walking into the exam room beside her… only to remember exactly what it was like….
Everything rides on this one month:
9 papers, 7 exams.
So, no pressure… like.

I feel every emotion carousing through her as we drive to school and home again.
Yesterday was Math Paper 2 — she left feeling traumatised and unsure how she did. Time was up, no time to check.
Today is Biology — more suited to her (hopeful) scientist’s mind.

Fingers crossed for her, and everyone working for a dream right now.

That’s what I’m doing. How about you?

June, a month electrified by intense pressure. The end is in sight but the road ahead is still long for the 61,632 students sitting their Leaving Certificate exams. My daughter is one of them and this is her final push to prove herself worthy of a place on her dream UL course.
Everything rides on this one month. 9 papers, 7 exam subjects, so no pressure… like. 😰

‘It makes me feel better knowing I’m not the only one.’ She scrunch up her nose and look at me. I turn the ignition off and take a long look at her, willing my belief in her to pe*****te deep into her soul.
‘I believe in you,’ I say. She nods, opens the car door, and I watch her go.

Oh, my heart is full of hope and best wish for her, and all her peers. For their Leaving Cert, and for reaching their dreams that lies beyond this month of June.

As the vision for my personal brand photography venture takes shape, I’m so thankful for all the families who’ve booked me for their Communion and Confirmation celebrations this spring. Your trust means the world to me — thank you 💛

These family events remain some of my favourite shoots — whether we’re at home among generations, walking through nature, or celebrating in a stunning hotel garden. I love spending time with the families, the kids — so free and full of life.
