Maqam of blessed and respected Sayyida Ruqayya bint Ali alRida, the son of Musa alKazim, the son of Jafar alSadiq, the son of Mohammed alBaqir, the son of Ali Zayn alAbidin, the son of Imam al-Husayn, may Allah be pleased with them all.
Note: the plate at the top is wrong saying it as daughter of Sayyiduna Ali b. Ali Talib.

This area is called ‘the Baqie’ of Egypt’ due to the great number of prominent people from among our pious predecessors who are buried here.
