Things We’ve Learned Along the Way

1. The moment matters more than the gear
You can have the best camera in the world, but if you miss the moment, the photo is gone.

2. Access is everything
The best photos usually happen where most people can’t go. Relationships open more doors than credentials.

3. The story is bigger than the car
The people, the tension in the paddock, the late nights, the road trips — that’s what makes the image real.

4. Chaos creates the best shots
Some of the best frames happen when things aren’t controlled. Broken plans often lead to better photos.

5. Trust your eye
Everyone will have an opinion. The only thing that keeps your work unique is trusting what you see.

6. The small details make the frame
Oil stains on the floor, scratched helmets, worn tires, nervous hands — those tell the real story.

7. The journey becomes the archive
At first you’re just shooting photos. Years later you realize you’ve documented a whole era.
