A small update.

I’ve always taken photos here for fun, mostly with my phone. Lately, I felt the need to slow things down and try something different, so I’ve started a new journey shooting on film.

I’m not sure where it will lead, but I’m enjoying the process.

City Tower stands in Piccadilly Gardens and was completed in 1965 as part of the Piccadilly Plaza complex designed by Covell, Matthews & Partners and built by Bernard Sunley & Sons. It was originally called Sunley House and rises 30 storeys, making it one of the city’s tallest office buildings. Over the years it’s had refreshes and upgrades, including a major refurbishment in the 2000s, and it’s also an important broadcast site with radio antennas on the roof. In recent years the building has been rebranded as City Tower to celebrate its historic presence on Manchester’s skyline
