A whole year of a baby's life in one photo book! 🥹❤️

You look at the first photos, and there's this tiny little baby! Then, with every turn of the page, you see how much they've grown. First smiles, sitting up, crawling, taking those first little steps… And all of that in just 12 months! 🥰

And here's the lovely photo book we created as part of my “My First Year” photography project. I love imagining the family taking this book off the shelf a few years from now, looking through it together, remembering just how tiny their little one used to be and sharing the stories behind the photos.

That's one of the reasons I love not just taking photographs, but having them printed too. There's something so special about holding those memories in your hands 🤍

Целый год жизни малыша в одной фотокниге! 🥹❤️

Смотришь на первые фотографии - совсем крошка! А дальше с каждой страницей малышка всё больше меняется. Вот уже улыбается, сидит, ползает, делает первые шаги… И всё это за каких-то 12 месяцев! 🥰

Вот такая замечательная фотокнига получилась у нас по итогам проекта «Мой первый годик». Представляю, как через несколько лет родители вместе с ребёнком будут листать её, вспоминать, какой она был маленькой, и рассказывать истории, связанные с этими фотографиями.

Именно поэтому я так люблю не только фотографировать, но и печатать фотографии. Совсем другие ощущения, когда держишь их в руках 🤍

Some people just have a way of making you feel better, don't they? 😄
You can have the most hectic day, feel completely worn out, and want nothing more than to get home, enjoy some peace and quiet, and not talk to anyone. But then you meet up with someone, start chatting, laughing, talking about anything and everything… and suddenly you've got all this energy! You're in a great mood and feel like you could take on the world! 🤍
And then there's the complete opposite. You have a lovely time with someone, enjoy the conversation, everything's great… but the moment you get home, all you want is a couple of hours of silence 🤭
And the funny thing is you can genuinely like both people!

Which got me thinking… what kind of person am I to others? Am I the one they can't wait to chat with again, or the one who makes them want to switch off their phone and sit in silence for a while? 😁

I just read about a café abroad where kids can pay for an ice cream or a milkshake with five leaves from a tree! 🍃

How cute is that?! 😍

It instantly reminded me of playing shop as a kid. Remember those days? Leaves and little stones were our money, and we made the most amazing cakes out of sand. And to us, it all felt so real! 😄
Now imagine a child collecting five leaves, taking them to a café and getting a real ice cream in return! Not a pretend one, but an actual ice cream! 🥰

I absolutely love ideas like this! When adults don't just say, “Oh, don't be silly,” but actually join in and play along 🥰 Just imagine how excited the kids must be to go out for ice cream like that!

Does anyone remember Café Komeet on the top floor of Solaris? 🥰

I still think about that place sometimes, especially in autumn! Sitting by the window on a cosy evening, watching the city lights, sipping coffee and enjoying a delicious slice of cake… Ah, those were the days! The kind of place you just didn't want to leave ☕🍰
I'd love to find somewhere like that again! A lovely, cosy café with so many tempting cakes that you can't decide which one to try, where you can sit for hours without feeling like you need to rush off anywhere.

So, where do you go in Tallinn for really good desserts these days? 😍 I'm looking for places where the cake alone is worth the trip, not just somewhere to grab a coffee!

I'd love to add a few new favourites to my list 🤍

Do you ever feel like eating something really good, but have absolutely no idea what you're in the mood for? 😄

You fancy something a little special. Something sweet? Nope. Something savoury? Not quite. You start going through all your favourite foods in your head, but nothing makes you think, “Yes! That's exactly what I want!”
And the funny thing is, you do have an appetite. You really want something delicious. You just can't figure out what that something is! 🤷🏻‍♀️

So what do you do when you feel like this? 😄 Does it happen to you too? How do you decide what to eat when nothing sounds quite right?

Why is it so hard to simply say “thank you” when someone tells us, “You look amazing!”? 😄

It’s funny, isn’t it? Someone gives us a genuine compliment, and we immediately start making excuses. “Oh, this dress is so old!” “My hair is a mess today!” “Honestly, I don’t even look that good.”

And nobody even asked for an explanation! 😄

Instead of just smiling and saying “thank you,” we somehow manage to come up with a whole list of reasons why we don’t deserve the compliment. But it feels so nice when someone says something lovely about us. So why not just accept it? No excuses, no trying to convince them otherwise 🤍

What about you? Are you the type who simply says “thank you,” or can you come up with ten reasons in under a minute why the compliment isn’t deserved? 😀

Sitting still? Not for long! 😄

One minute we're getting the sweetest little smile, the next we're crawling, exploring and discovering everything around us.
And that's exactly what I love about baby photoshoots! At this age, babies are curious about absolutely everything. Sometimes even a little plant is more interesting than the photographer. 🌿
There's no need to sit perfectly still or smile on command. We have plenty of time to play, explore and capture all those adorable expressions along the way.

Сегодня делюсь вкусной находкой! 😋

Гранола ручной работы и попкорн из пшена от .morethantasty - попробовала и то, и другое, и мне очень понравилось! ❤️

Особенно полюбился попкорн из пшена. Я добавляю его в творог, йогурт или скир - он так классно хрустит и делает даже самый обычный творог интереснее 😍

Думаю, детям такое точно понравится! Да и взрослым тоже. 😄

Handmade granola and popped millet from .morethantasty - I’ve tried both, and they’re absolutely delicious! ❤️

I’m especially loving the popped millet. I like adding it to cottage cheese, yogurt or skyr for that lovely little crunch. It makes even the simplest breakfast a bit more fun! 😍

I have a feeling kids will love it, and grown-ups too. 😄
