Journey ◽️ Journey is a corridor of memory with the names of the victims of communism on its wall. Today, on 25 March, 71 years ago twenty thousand men, women and children were deported by the Soviets to Siberia. Nearly 3% of the Estonian population were seized in a few days and dispatched to remote areas of Siberia. All my thoughts to my grand grandpa and other affected families! 🙏🏻 💙

Autumn sky ▫️ Haabneeme 🏖 is a great place for relaxation from the busy city life. And it is just 20minutes ride from the centre!! Ps! Did you know that Haabneeme was first mentioned in 1271 as Apones? 🧐

Tallinn city line view with sunken ship▫️Katariina pier was constructed as a part of a battery of the Peter the Great sea fortress in 1916. It is located next to Pikakari beach in Paljassaare.

What is your next destination? 🛫 ▫️ Although Tallinn airport’s was officially opened in 1936, it had already year before 6 arrivals and departures on average every day. Today the number has increased a lot and we have more than 40 direct destinations. Ps! The airport has been voted as on of the best ones in Europe.

✨ Sky is the limit ✨ | Did you know that Maakri street is named after the family Macker, who owned cleaning service business in this area in 19th century. So we could say that there has been a good business vibe already centuries ... 🤓

Tallinn Old Town Christmas Market 🎄✨◽️ awarded Tallinn the title of Best Christmas Market in Europe and commented as following “The Tallinn Christmas market delights everyone with its coziness, historical location, wonderfully preserved medieval old buildings and long traditions. In recent years, the Tallinn Christmas market has a number of times been elected as one of the best Christmas markets in the world.”

Today's morning view to the city from Danish King's garden ▫️Danish King's garden has a lovely view to the city. Also it is a good place where sit down and have a nice break from a long walking tour around the city. .

Candles for the victims of Soviet deportations 🕯▫️ On 25 March 1949 twenty thousand men, women and children were deported by the Soviets to Siberia. Nearly 3% of the Estonian population were seized in a few days and dispatched to remote areas of Siberia. The youngest one of them was just 3 days old.... Today, for commemorating the victims, Estonians light candles in different cities and places.

Masters' courtyard with the winter feeling ❄️ ◽️Masters' courtyard is my absolute favorite courtyard in Tallinn. It looks so beautiful 😍 at every season! The courtyard and most of it's enclosing buildings were built in the 13th century and was first time mentioned in historical documents in 1371. .
