The remains of what I think was a Roman aqueduct have been turned into stork nesting sites!
Turkiye was amazing! Of all the places I've visited so far, Turkiye is where I was least able to communicate. But I am so intrigued by the culture and language, it feels like a puzzle waiting for me to understand! I definitely want to go back for more Turkish delight, coffee, food, and hamams. 🇹🇷

Santorini! I love the whitewashed buildings with blue roofs. Definitely somewhere I could spend a whole week.

Athens was more than tortoises, I also visited the acropolis. It was amazing, scroll all the way through to see a view of the acropolis from the Areopagus hill. The acropolis was truly a "high city"!

It wasn't just ancient buildings I got to see, the Sagrada Familia is pretty new. The highest spire was just completed this year, and one of the façades is still incomplete. What an inspiring work of architecture!

I just spent nearly three weeks galavanting about the Mediterranean! I have tons of pics, so I'll try to keep posting them.
This was my first time traveling places where English or Spanish weren't the primary languages, so I got to muddle through my terrible Italian, Greek, and Turkish. But the food and experiences were incredible, I'm already dreaming of returning!
