A random gardener in a random garden.

I used a diffusion sheet on camera left to soften the harsh light of the sun at 1pm, I also placed a cardboard on the bottom acting as a reflector to fill up the shadows, I didn't do much retouching, just RAW adjustments to balance colors and exposure.

Sony A7M3, Tamron 28-75mm 2.8 with a VND Filter
@ f2.8, 1/50, ISO 800
(I used high ISO by accident cause I was shooting video in S-Log 2)

I used two softboxes 85cm with diffusion and a grid as a rim (Strobe with HSS) + a 150cm with double diffusion on the left (Strobe with HSS) as Key
A7RIV + Tamron 28-75mm with a VND attached
I took 3 Shots then alligned them on photoshop
Editing : Capture One for RAW Edits + Photoshop for the (Looong) rest of the edits.
Took me 4 Hours to edit but was very happy with the result.

The less I care about the gear and focus more on the light the better I understand its far superior impact on a given visual, photography and music are very similar yet so complementary at once, it’s very delicate when perceived from a conceptual optic, and projects a certain finesse when the atmosphere is there to help.
I’ve had the opportunity to meet great people and have had the privilege to see beyond what they usually show, this intimacy is finer than gold, with every new guest I become a better host and for this, I’ll be forever grateful.
