LIFE AND BUSINESS UPDATE:
I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2021 and moved back home to Kansas City to spend time working full time on my photography business. I knew that would only be for a season as there was other career dreams I had. I moved to part time for my business when I got a job as a barista at a local coffee shop. What a special season of life it was.
And now I am moving to a full time position as the Kansas City Admission Representative for my old university GCU! I’ve always told people I will always do photography. Whether it’s full time, part-time, or now just a side hustle, I can’t live without it.
The amount of work I will be able to book will be shrinking back as I get adjusted to my new role. Every booking I currently have will be getting my utmost attention and from there I will add in what feels right.
I am booked for weddings for 2025 and through the end of March for photoshoots. I will open my April calendar after my first week of training with GCU after I decide what work load I can take on.
I will keep socials updated in these next few months on when and how to book me to capture your moments!

I appreciate all my clients who have made this job impossible to give up!

Here are some things I love over here at Judiann Marie Photography.
I love the scrunchy noses not sure if they wanna smile for the camera, I love dance parties mid-shoot, I love letting kids get into the dirt and grass because that might be where their true smile comes out. I love hands all intertwined so much you can't tell whose is who. Yes, I make sure to magically get that one everyone is smiling at the camera shot, but what I really love is the in-between moments. The ones that look and feel like there wasn't even a photographer there, you just got to be a fly on the wall watching this family be who they are in their freest moments. No agenda, no phones, nothing but time to connect and interact.
My desire is to not just capture what you look like but to capture who you are. In this case who you are as a family. Do these photos not scream JOY?!? These are some of the most joyous people I know. I feel so lucky to have captured that this fall in their family photos.
