A tribute to Jordan & Layla 🥹

Jordan,
You were there at my first birthday party, and that was just the start of our lifelong bond. Even though we grew up far apart, I was always thrilled whenever we were going to visit you. I’d pack my favorite toys, eager to play and spend time with you. As we’ve grown older, I’ve admired you even more. You’ve always been a model of strength and determination—qualities that have influenced my life. I’ve always looked up to you, not just as a cousin, but as someone I aspire to be like. You’ve shown me what it means to be loyal and devoted to family. Now, it’s our turn to honor you. I’m so proud of the man you’ve become, and I’m lucky to have you in my life. 💙

Layla,
I first remember meeting you at the house in Rouge Hill around Christmas time many years ago, and since then, you’ve been a constant presence at every family event. It feels like you’ve always been a part of our lives, bringing warmth, laughter, and your own special energy to every gathering. You make Jordan so happy, and it shows in every way. I’ve known him my entire life, and you bring out something beautiful in him that I’ve never seen before—a lightness and joy that only you could inspire. I know you’re going to take great care of him, just as he will for you, and I’m excited to see all the wonderful memories you’ll create together. 💜

I didn’t make a good enough effort to charge my drone batteries so my airtime was limited… That was my bad.

I’m still happy with how these turned out and I hope I get more time with the beautiful leaves to get some more drone shots!

It’s been a while since I’ve had the time to be creative.. the transition to full time school has really made me realize how limited time is in a day!

It’s been an interesting transition to say the least. I never really imagined myself being a post secondary student but here we are? I’ve been taking it one day at a time and not allowing myself to be too comfortable which I find helps.

On a total other note I recently started watching Harry Potter for the first time and I’m absolutely hooked. I don’t think it could be a better season to start watching it. (You got me hooked, you know exactly who you are!)

Enjoy the fall, yes the heat is gone and the winter is around the corner but this is a really beautiful season. Go get that latte, go for that walk you never have time for, sit on the porch and be in the moment. It’s the small things that add up to a much bigger picture.

I hope you all are doing well and happy thanksgiving to my Canadian friends&family. I have so much love for all of you and I hope everything is right on time for you 🫶🏽

The stars from the cottage in Kawartha were just phenomenal. Take a look! 🌌

I ranted about this a year ago. Last year I went to the family cottage where anxiety got the better of me and I had to leave the day I got there. This year? I had a blast and couldn’t be happier that I made it through! I really feared about having a similar experience so to see how everything played out was so amazing.

To me, that’s progress! I can’t really believe I was totally okay. Wild.

It was also a special occasion as two of my family members are getting married! Such a great energy to be a part of and I’m so thankful to have these wonderful people in my life. I send so much love to those couples and welcome to the family everyone🫶🏽

I’m super thankful to be a part of so many memories. I love all of you.

Using this post to simply send love. I hope everyone’s doing well. I hope your families are alright and I wish the very best for you all regardless of what you may face.

We’re all right on time, you’re doing very great and please don’t forget to be kind to yourself.

Some chaotic shots from tonights clear sky to remind you that we’re very, very tiny.

Astrophotography is very peaceful to me. At first it doesn’t sound very peaceful as one slip up will leave you with blur, lines for stars or giant bubbles of light.. funny enough that’s exactly what you’re looking at. “Imperfections”

There is a certain peace with pressing the camera shutter and finding the beauty in the end result. “Be that as it may”. There is beauty in absolutely everything if you look hard enough. It’s the will to continue searching that grants the biggest rewards.

Recently my heart has been pulled in many directions. Nobody talks about the confusion associated with a balance of positive and negative emotions all at once. We’re conditioned to believe things are either good or bad. Not both at the same time. To me? I’m thankful. Thankful for the ability to feel both. Highs and lows all at once is a lot, but it’s okay.

We’re all right on time. Where we are, who we are? It’s all right on time. I hope if you understand this confusion it clears up soon friend.

I love the night sky. Every time stars are visible I can’t NOT take photos of them, luckily there’s no downside to this so I’ll indulge 🌕🌠

I just spent a good 8 days in bed. Flat out sick. I didn’t see that coming. The weather was getting nicer and I was so excited to get out! I’m feeling a lot better now and I’m out and about again.

All of that time alone made me think a lot and one discovery I made (or I should say realized) is that social media is absolutely wasting my time.

After realizing this I made the stride toward removing myself off of a few apps and removing a bunch of accounts on instagram altogether that don’t serve my higher self.

It feels incredible being freed from a lot of the useless posts and negativity being sprayed all over the internet. I love it. I encourage you to give it a try.

Spring is right around the corner! Here is my beautiful friend Sam taking in some sun 🌅

I love seeing nature restore itself after the winter. Hard rain, wind and fog to nourish the plants, trees and nature around us.

Plants will begin to bloom, leaves will return to trees. People will be outside so much more.

Warmth = Happiness

(Side note, this photo was taken on a 14 Pro and I’m still very much in awe how so much detail phones are capable of capturing these days)

I like to think of myself as an observer. I get to witness this life and the lives of those around me. Paying too much attention can be a sin but it’s a balance I’m willing to maintain if it means I can be there for the wonderful people in my life.

I’ve witnessed a lot of changes in my friends lives recently. They’re growing, resetting, shifting and learning more about themselves than ever and that makes me so beyond happy. I’m witnessing their highest highs and lowest lows. I couldn’t be more honoured, really. I love all of you.

Over the last few months in my own life people have come and go. This is okay. If we’re meant to be a part of each others lives, fate will ensure. There’s a certain comfort associated with that I hope everyone can feel some day.

I’m so happy to welcome new friends into my own life recently (you all know who you are) and I couldn’t be happier to have you. Very excited to grow with you, or grow apart? Again, fate decides this.

I’m so excited to be part of your lives whether we all cry, laugh, panic? I’m here to support. Cheers to friends. Tell your friends you love them, support them and care for them.

I hope everyone is doing well. I wish you all happiness and ease as the temperatures approach freezing.
