Your grandmother’s last hug is in the palm of our hands. Your baby first days are captured by us.
Literally.
Or least it has been many times before in our line of work.
We aren’t just talented.
We aren’t just someone for hire.
We aren’t just really good at position and color and angles.
We don’t just have “a really good camera”
And we don’t want your arm or your leg.
We do however want to make you happy....
And we do hold memories and moments that you’ll never ever get back and send them back to you with forever in their future.
This time of year we are quite literally running. We are working to fit you in and we are editing late into the night. Often to the detriment of our own families.
Do we make good money?
Honestly, no. Not always.
Do we also lose up to £100’s in one week due to last minute cancellations and reschedules right before Christmas?
Yes. Always.
But we love what we do, and we continue to do it.
We love you.
And we love your moments.
We love capturing your newborn, we love capturing your cheeky little toddlers and your boisterous little children and even your grumpy teens who you've bribed to be in that photo one last time.
We are exhausted after 12 hours of shooting - we don’t eat for far too many hours at a time, we cringe when our past clients post asking for someone “cheaper” after we put our heart into their last session and we are our own worst critic.
We cry when you thank us and you're over joyed with your images. We are sad when you say nothing at all.
We’re your reassurance that “we did get at least one good one of your full of energy toddler.”
We’re your listening ear.
We’re your friend.
We’re your photographer.
And we hope to stay that way.
Yes, we’re hired...but we’re so much more than that.
You matter to us...
Thank you for trusting us.
Thank you for being loyal to us.
Thank you for being patient with us.
We’re working really hard to add a little magic to your moments...
And it’s often while we miss out on some of our own. 🤍
