Vedde Station — 2020

This is the train station in the little rural town where I grew up in. I was always late in the morning, so to make it to school, I had to run like crazy to make the train. The problem was that, to make the train stop, you need to be at the station before the train arrives to push a button that signal the train driver to make the train stop, otherwise the train just blasted through the station. Usually there would be other passengers that had pushed the button, but there was no guarantees. Therefore I developed a strategy where I ran the last part of the way to the station right next to the rail tracks, so the driver could see me running so he would know he had to stop. It actually worked. Sometimes. And sometimes it didn’t, depending on the drivers mood I guess.

I finally got around to do some blogposts again. Two posts this year and hopefully more to come.

Last year they demolished the Danish Royal Mail terminal. It was quite an apocalyptic spectacle to observe. I went there to take some pictures and ended up on the railroad tracks trying to get a good view.
This was shot on fujifilm pro400H with a Mamiya 7 and
printed by hand in my darkroom on the brand new Fujifilm Crystal Archive Maxima paper.
I will take orders in two sizes 30x40 and 40x50, untill this Sunday.
The orders will be processed next week👍
Unframed prices are 850,- / 1250,- dkr.
I also have different options for framing - dm if interested. ✉️

Ängelholm, Sweden 2018

The darkroom is now up and running - and I’ve been printing like mad this week.
I’ve decided to let my scanners have a break and solely do analogue prints. This means that my workflow will be radically changed relying only on contact sheets and old school printing.
I thought it was the perfect occasion to do a ‘100 days - 100 prints project’. For the next hundred days I will post hundred color or bnw darkroom prints.
This is the first color print that was made in the new darkroom so I figure it’s appropriate to start off with this one.
