Let's be epic, shall we?
My perspective on capturing images of Viking reenactors have changed so much since 5 years ago, which was the last time I was active in the scene.
My style has developed and morphed into something different.... something more substantial.
I have an inert desire to tell stories and I feel myself coming closer to being able to give the stories true justice. It's as if I'm so close to solving a riddle, that it's just a matter of a twist and a turn, and I'll be there, arriving at my true destination. For now anyway.
It's seeping into my everyday life as a photographer, and my passion for storytelling is begging to be heard, screaming at me to do something more, something different. I don't know what it is just yet, but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough. It's right there under the surface, waiting to be released.
In the meanwhile, I'll admire the incredible people that I've gotten the chance to know through reenactment.
