Wanna hear the secret to beautiful wedding photography?

To capture authentic moments with real feelings?

To feel relaxed and present in the moment?

Be comfortable with your photographer. Comfortable to let loose and be silly and allow yourself to have fun. Comfortable enough to be vulnerable in front of a stranger. Comfortable enough to be yourself. This is your day, and it's not about the photos. It's about the feelings, the thrills to be in the peak moments on this rollercoaster of life - this love story you share with your soulmate!

To achieve amazing photographs is not the goal. It's simply the result of letting go of expectations, to be present in the moment, to trust your photographer.

To feel comfortable with a stranger. Thats a little awkward isnt it? Yeah, sure it is! Thats why its so important you choose a photographer based on your chemistry and the photographers approach and personality. Do this, and the images from your day will feel so raw, so beautiful and so honest - most of all it will make you remember how you r
felt this day, because it was never about the photos. It was about enjoying this incredible experience!

And the photographer? Yes, thats me. 🙋🏻 I want to be your best friend if you'd let me. I want to get to know you. I care about you. Deeply! I want you to allow yourself to be human with me and have the best time!

Authentic memories comes from focusing on the experience, not the results. Real feelings.

Being real to you in hope that you feel comfortable with me, is and will always be, my most important role in this crazy job as a wedding photographer.

I hope my couples feel safe with me. That they trust in me. I'm honored to be a part of your day to capture your story. I poured my heart out in this post because I can't help myself. Thank you for reading this far.

"Had our wedding photos taken by Mathilde and it was such a fun experience! My husband and I started with some shots near the town hall with our parents, then she took us to a gorgeous spot on Bornholm where we ended up having a little adventure. The whole vibe was super relaxed, full of laughs. I’m usually pretty camera shy and self-conscious, but she made sure I felt comfortable and beautiful.
