The long-tailed beauty from the Deep Space 💫
WOW!! After 2 weeks of clouds, yesterday I got lucky, even with a cherry on top 😍🤯
As it got dark, the comet C/2025 Lemmon appeared low just few degrees above the horizon. The plan was simple - to find a beautiful tree in Mols Bjerge National Park and capture it under the comet with a 135mm lens. And I was tracking the sky, a green meteor got in one of the frames. Another dream shot completed! 🌌

MARRIED UNDER THE MILKY WAY 🌌
Last week I had a unique opportunity to photograph a happily married couple under the stars. In addition to my light painting with just a phone screen, the waning Moon was hanging in the sky, only few degrees above the horizon so I used both light sources to create these astrophotographs 😍🤩

PERSEID METEOR SHOWER 2025 🌠🌌
Despite this year’s nearly Full Moon, the annual meteor shower provided us with many shooting stars! I even decided to challenge myself, so I took to the Ole Rømers Observatory which is located in Aarhus - a home to Denmark’s largest telescope. To enhance contrast of the Milky Way, I stacked 60 images in Deep Sky Stacker and worked on the image for two days, hope you enjoy! 🤩🌌

Here is a photograph taken on my second night about one hour before midnight. Notice bright airglow caused by thunderstorms - and a single bright Perseid meteor!

AURORA AND NOCTILUCENT CLOUDS OVER AARHUS 🤯🌌🤩
Last night something impossible happened. The recent strong geomagnetic storm went unnoticed in Europe, when suddenly its activity rose right before midnight. At the same time, my eye caught some silhouettes of the first NLCs in this season, so I risked my sleep and rushed to the nearby beach. It was first after 1,5 hours of impatient waiting, some pink (nearly invisible) pillars of the Northern Lights appeared behind those night-shining clouds. What a moment to capture! 😍
