At the end of last year, I said I wanted to use my photography to share more women’s stories. This has been on my mind for a long time, but I’ve always been too busy and kept pushing it aside. So, I set a goal for 2025: to share at least 7 women’s stories.

When Lyndsay asked if she could use the photos I took of Jannie to illustrate the cover story of The International, I didn’t hesitate.

Jannie, thank you for trusting my photography and for being so loyal over the years.

Lyndsay, thank you for sharing these important stories, making sure that all internationals living in Denmark feel seen. And when I say international, I mean everyone who has embraced the journey of living abroad—blending cultures, languages, and hearts in a new country. Whether you are a Dane returning home or someone creating a home in Denmark, your story matters.

On this International women's day, I would like to thank some women who have influenced and impacted my life by challenging my perspective, supporting my journey, or raising my awareness.
I'm grateful for the chance to be supported by amazing women. 🤍

Supporting one another is the only solution to keep our rights hard won by our mothers, grandmothers, and the previous generations, to help those who continue to fight every day to acquire more rights, to open a more equitable path for us, our daughter, and future generations worldwide.

Creating is a process.
It pushes me out of my comfort zone.
