The free Press is under siege.
It almost seems paradoxical that the free press is under pressure. In this digital period of history, where access to the News never has been easier, it is also being suppressed by authorities and in many countries under political influence.
In the Middle East including Israel, it is almost impossible for the Press to work under safe conditions, even though they are protected by the UN.
In the USA you can hardly find a news outlet that doesn't have a political agenda. The free and independent Press has become nothing but a myth.
The immediate concern though, is the killing and imprisonment of journalist and photographers around the world. This has to be addressed by the world.
