Grace, is an autodidact photographer based in Denmark. She loves making dreamy images that appear to resemble paintings and spice it up with alternative fashion clothing and accessories. Her style consists of themes that strongly reflects her personal thoughts and feelings and she believes that great photos tell great stories. FA

Finished editing this series with / .ltx & ✨These are pretty different from my usual style, but I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting with lights, themes, and different genres this year while still editing them in a way that feels like me 😊

The outdoor images were difficult to capture. The lighting kept changing, and it was below freezing outside, so I had to work quickly. I rotated the models and photographed them for 5 minutes at a time so they could go inside, warm up, and head back out again.

I’ll definitely try this again at next year’s Copenhagen Light Festival with different locations. Hopefully, it won’t be as cold 🥶

Metamorphosis is something I often return to in my work. How it happens quietly, over time. Sometimes you need a space to pause, figure things out, and grow. But eventually, staying there isn’t enough. What once felt safe has to open up, so whatever’s been taking shape can finally move forward.

Sharing a few shots from a photo meetup I went to a couple of months ago. This was the last set, and one of the tube lights died, so I had to improvise. Still really happy we managed to get some cool shots in the end.

These photos were taken back in 2018. A couple of years ago, while I was traveling in the Philippines, I randomly came across one image from the series that I really loved but had somehow overlooked. So I edited that one and re-edited two others, mainly to experiment with the color grading and refine my style.

It was way too hot to be outside, so I stayed in a coffee shop and edited for a while before meeting up with my childhood friends.

Last month, while going through old files, I found them again and realized the series was almost finished.

I hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed creating them 😊

I haven’t been very active sharing my work here lately since the FB algo has been pretty brutal. So I’ve mostly been focusing on posting on IG or Farcaster instead, where I usually share some BTS and editing teasers 😊

Some images never truly leave you. They wait quietly, asking to be finished. This one took me a long time to edit. I wanted a soft, painterly glow that reminded me of the first photo I took of Maria in this church back in 2018, when she wore a red gown, but had such a hard time achieving it as the light was so different from the first time we were here.

I’m happy I finally finished it. Also working on 2 more images from this series. Something to look forward to 💛
