Clynelish Reserve - House Tyrell ⚔️🌸🥃
's release of the Clyenelish single malt for the series.

The first thing that strikes you with this whisky is how round and smooth the nose is for a 51% ABV, clean notes of ripe pear, nutty chocolate, and dried fruits, with a distinctive spicy oak profile that lingers through to the finish.

An enjoyable dram for sure, very similar to the classic Clynelish 14 years. In my opinion, this is the best non-peat release out of the game of thrones series.

Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Whisky Cask Strength 🥃

Tastenotes by Arthur 🧐:
Notes of spicy apple and caramelized pear come first to the nose, followed by malted pear flavors paired with toasted almonds bringing together a rich mouthfeel, and finally, a lingering oak finish with hints of citrusy spice.
This specific iteration of Glengoyne’s cask strength series is a worthy purchase for any whisky lover and will surely open up doors to a deeper understanding of the flavor profile available in highland, single malt, scotch whiskies.

Elephant Strength by Elephant Gin 🐘🍶

Made on the same botanical basis than the classic Elephant Gin, this navy strength provides a fuller palate and an extended depth of flavor. The same blend of rare African botanicals is present, this includes African buchu and African wormwood, combined with apples and pinewood. A slight hint of citrus laced with smooth juniper notes that ends in a sharp finish. Truthfully a masterful ex*****on of a navy style gin, a must-have for sure.

🍸 X-Gin brings a bit of heat 🌶

A modern take on gin that combines the eccentric aphrodisiac effect of chocolate with the acclaimed spirit that we all came to love.
This unlikely pairing brought Belgian distillers together with the ancient Mayan culture of chocolate and the growing trends surrounding gin.

X Gin is unusual, to the nose mild vanilla and chocolate notes supported by a hint of juniper. Very smooth to the palate, this gin differs from the traditional spirit experience and brings a velvety combination of smooth chocolate and spicy vanilla leaving a creamy aftertaste of almonds.

I paired it with a classic tonic to provide a much-needed hint of bitterness, fitting that with cacao nibs and a fresh red chili to bring in some heat.

I'm in London again this year, all week, to tag along Team Aalborg Energy and showcase their hard work as they compete in the Shell Eco-marathon! A race not solely about speed, but good mileage! 🏎🌱🇩🇰

The team has built a Hydrogen driven racecar, Cimbrer II.
Last year netted in a second place, but the competition looks very strong this year, so they are being given a run for their money! 🏁
