✨ Copenhagen Baroque Festival 2026 ✨

Fra 26.–30. august vender Copenhagen Baroque Festival tilbage. Temaet er i år ”imagination” – vi håber musikken kan være med til at skabe en verden fuld af fantasi – en verden med skønhed, melankoli, blomster, feer, skumrings-stilhed, magi og smukke farver som vores lyttere kan bære med sig videre og glædes ved og berøres over.

Årets festival byder på besøg af en lang række fremragende musikere fra ind- og udland, heriblandt Elizabeth Kenny, Reiko Ichise, Clara Cecilie Thomsen, Michala Petri, Bolette Roed, Allan Rasmussen, Iestyn Davies, Lars Ulrik Mortensen, Nadja Zwiener, Georg Zeike, Leif Meyer, Joachim Becerra Thomsen, Andreas Arend, Clare Wilkinson, Hille Perl og Veronika Skuplik, samt ensemblerne Concerto Copenhagen, Arte dei Suonatori, Musizierende Gesellschaft Leipzig og Fredensborg Slotskirkes Pigekor.

Koncerterne finder sted i nogle af Københavns smukkeste kirker og koncertsteder, herunder Trinitatis Kirke, Vor Frelsers Kirke Christianshavn, Sankt Petri Kirke og Kanalhuset.

Festivalen er kun mulig takket være vores samarbejdspartnere og frivillige – en stor tak for jeres støtte og engagement.

At the Festival Uhørte Klange for contemporary music, arranged by Peter Navarro-Alonzo, two concerts were dedicated to the music by Bent Sørensen. Jonas Lyskær Frølund impressed the audience and the composer with his interprepation of "Lontanamente - Fragments of a Waltz (2012)".

Today Augusta & Georgina McKay Lodge, Alison Luthmers and Madgalena Probe played Italian String Quartets on period instruments in Skt Markus Kirke, Frederiksberg. 👏👏👏👏

Here is a new music video, recorded with just two cameras and two microphones at the festival for contemporary music “UHØRTE KLANGE” in January. The session was dedicated to the “Next Generation” - young musicians perform music by young composers.

THE FAROE ISLANDS.
In July 2024 I spend two weeks on these beautiful islands in the North Atlantic . Now I have collected my favorite photos in eight short videos in 4K.
Without sound, without text, without drone footage, without photoshopping, without generative AI.

The latest project with Copenhagen Solists and Jonathan Ofir is finished. Now you can watch the live recording of Schumann´s 4. Symphony, played on period instruments.
During the five years we work together, I have extended recording setup from three camera and four microphones to six camera and eigth micorphones, all to reproduce the live experience as good as possible. Enjoy the music :-)
