I see my work as a personal collaboration with people who want to create things, based on ideas and curiosity for new ideas. Who allow creativity to be open and indefinable. I have a bachelor’s degree in Visual/Photographic Communication at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Copenhagen.

Small moods from Myanmar - 2019 ⁠

• Due to the military coup in Myanmar on Monday, the uncertainty is heavy. Since 1 February mobile networks, media and internet access are limited and journalists and civil rights activists are being attacked. ⁠
⁠
• I visited the country in 2019 to make interviews for a Swedish magazine and photograph a story on the Kachin conflict for a Danish newspaper. The situation was far from settling and people kept witnessing about awful human rights crimes. ⁠
⁠
• After Kachin we travelled from the north, down to the south to Yangon. I only stayed in the Yangon for a week, so little do I know about it more than the surface of a visitor. But I remember getting a feeling of old meeting something new, and I was thinking “next time I come here, it will be different”. Little did I expect that “different” would be a step backwards. ⁠

• Over the next couple of weeks I will publish some of my material from Myanmar from 2019.
