As I put together the finishing touches to my "Linked Summit" Talk on Visual Storytelling, I'm reminded about how little we know about the day-to-day systems and tech that we take for granted.
I'm a one-man band, and running a business can sometimes feel like spinning plates. As a result of this, I often don't pay too much attention to one social media platform, but spread myself thin across several.
Not ideal.
By focusing on LinkedIn these last few weeks, I've discovered so many useful things that I didn't even know were relevant.
Take, for example, the visual layout of your post when sharing multiple images. Does it look messy, unprofessional? Have you cut off someone's head?
And then there's the new algorithm that no longer cares about hashtags and who your connections are, but more on what you're actually posting about.
Including the images themselves.
On Thursday morning I get to share all of this with the Linked Summit audience, but I can feel that this isn't the last time I'll be talking about it.
