We’re happy to introduce Studio 9 and Studio 10 🌞

For the first time in our history, we have top-lit daylight studios at The Lab. Located right next to Studio 7, they bring a new feel while keeping the identity you know us for.

Studio 9 is our smaller space with a mezzanine you can shoot from or use as backstage. Studio 10 is more than double the size - bright and generous.
They’re ready to book now, with finishing touches arriving over the coming months.

Feels a bit unfair that location tents look this good before they’ve seen the field.
Our new Mastertent fleet has arrived ⛺️

They’re built to do exactly what a proper production tent should: go up fast, stay solid when the weather turns, and survive years of being packed, unpacked and dragged from location to location.

Available in 3×3 m and 1.5×1.5 m, ready for wardrobe, HMU, crew, cast and everything in between.

We might be unusually excited about new tents. We think that’s fair.

New CRMX iPad kits are now available for rent at The Lab 🍒

We’ve built custom 11” iPad Air kits for wireless control of continuous lights on set. Each kit includes a Cerise CRMX controller, hub, batteries and everything needed to run throughout the day.

The kits come with BLACKOUT LIGHTING CONSOLE installed - our preferred platform for controlling fixtures, building effects and working efficiently with multiple lights.

Alongside the new kits, our rental and assistant team recently completed an internal training session with gaffer Kasper Mønster, getting hands-on with the workflow and the possibilities on set.

A big thank you to Kasper for taking the time to share his knowledge and help us get even sharper.

For weekend, the space became home to “Fuel the Mind” - an intimate workshop with , .circle and , exploring race day nutrition through functional gummies, fermentation and Copenhagen’s culinary curiosity.

Meet Viktor,

We’re revisiting our colleague introductions - mainly because so many new faces have joined The Lab over the years, and we’d love to introduce some of the people you’ll meet behind the scenes.

If you’ve booked equipment with us recently, there’s a good chance you’ve already spoken with Viktor. With a background in the TV industry and experience working as both a runner and PA, he’s a core part of our rental team and one of the people helping make productions possible day to day.

Jylland-born - spent years out in the deep Fyn countryside - Viktor is known for his friendly energy, solution-oriented mindset, and deep camera knowledge. Photography also doesn’t really stop when he leaves work - most of his free time somehow still ends up in front of a stage, behind a camera, or talking about gear.

We asked Viktor: What’s your favorite lens?
His response: “Choosing between a 24-70 and a 70-200 is like choosing a favorite kid… so if not those, I’d have to say the Canon RF 10-20mm ultra wide. It’s just so much fun!”
