Hi everyone!
I have been cracking some numbers from the campaign today!
You guys Bought posters for 10091 DKK/ 1357 Euros!

My expenses for Printing and postage have come to 4693 DKK/ 630 Euros
This means that we together have raised 5400DKK/ 727 Euros for Ukraine! Well done!!!

Throughout the entire campaign, I had 30 orders and shipped 49 posters!
Mostly around Denmark, but Germany, Sweden, and Finland were also nicely represented.

Much love to everyone that contributed! Also a big thank you to everyone that shared and followed the campaign!
You are the best! ❤️💙💛🇺🇦

Poster 4
We drove for 30 minutes. And it was the longest 30 minutes of our lives.
Vitalik had borrowed one of the trucks from work. In the weekdays he was driving freshly baked bread to the shops, but now it was Saturday and Shenya and I was cramped in on the bottom shelf in the dark windowless trunk. We could only lay on our backs looking up on the shelf inches above our heads.
Vitalik was a reckless and fast driver, and there were alot bad roads and sharp curves and corners on the way to the mountain. We were not more than a couple of minutes in before we regretted being gentlemen and letting the three girls jump on the front seat.
We all survived but barely.
We parked the car on the foot of the mountain and began our climb to the top. It was really hot even though the sun was going down. We were sweating and the mosquitos were eating us alive.
When we reached the top a while later it had become completely black. We dropped our bags and went to the edge. From here we could see the entire city of Mukachevo. The lights of the streets and houses were mesmerizing and Shenya jumped in front of my camera as I was taking a picture of the view. It was the first picture and I didn’t notice that the climbing and tumbling on the way to the top had adjusted my camera settings. The camera shot out a terribly hard flash, and everything got bleached out. It was a big mistake, but what a beautiful mistake.

Hi everyone!

Now there are only a few days left of the campaign where I raise money to aid in Ukraine.
The time has gone so fast!
I went into this not knowing how it would go. But I thought worst case at least my mother would buy a poster.
But the support from all of you has been amazing!
Especially the first week it was very busy! Then it got a bit quiet for a while. And now it has started picking up the last two days.
so I’m playing with the thought of extending the sale until Sunday, to make sure that everyone interested has had the time to choose a poster.

Let me know, in the comments or as a message if there is a chance you would buy a poster this weekend, then I will follow up on it.
Originally the last day of the poster sale for Ukraine ends after tomorrow.

Poster 12

The bat poster.
They are so fast and silent and hard to spot when it’s this dark. They were circling a lamp post that had attracted a lot of insects. I stood there for along time before I got this image! I wish I could say that this was in the first try, but that’s often not the case. Most of the pictures were of nothing, I was chasing shadows on a black backdrop. I don’t really like to go much into technical stuff but this photo is taken on 32mm. The bat is at most 10 inches most likely smaller. I think had I reached out I could have tickled his belly :)

Godmorgen allesammen!

Lad os lave en lille konkurrence! :)

og jeg tænkte lidt over hvad vi kunne gøre for at pifte lidt op i kampagnen :)
Der ud over synes at det begyndte at krible lidt for at printe et af de store posters.

Poster 8

We found this baby sparrow that had fallen down from its nest. 4 big black crows were picking at it trying to eat it. It couldn’t fly and most of its buddy didn’t have feathers yet.
It was doomed to die a very slow and scary death, and I couldn’t look at it. Without thinking about it I ran over there to pick him up. The big birds flew and I stood there with a baby bird in my hand. I tried to look for its nest. But the tree was too tall and there were no branches to climb onto. I didn’t think this through. I couldn’t just leave him, then what would be of him?
So I kept him and tried to nurture him back to health. He lived in a box with bedding to keep him warm. I tried to feed him and give him water, but he wouldn’t take it, no matter how I tried.
I wish I could give you a happy ending. But sadly it didn’t go that way. A bad lesson to me for thinking that I could go against nature.
I tried to research and called animal centres but they wouldn’t take him. I failed him.

I had 3 days with him, and did the best I could, but it was not enough.
Rest in peace my little friend ❤️
