For more than three years I tried to encapsulate who Bjørn Harvig is. It started as a film about Bjørn and his family’s 3 month long bike adventure in southern Europe, but ended as a portrait of a guy with so much compassion for history, exploration and adventures… and basic human understanding. Huge privilege to create this. Thanks to Hans at Larry Vs Harry for believing that this would in fact one day become something. Enjoy.

Had the best time working on this production for Trendhim. Hugely greatfull to be offered to join in by 🙏 thank you so much. Shot in our hometown Ringe on fyn with some rather magnificant locations. For example this old travel agency’s office space. Our old childhood friend Søren came on to assist with setdesign and extras, such privilege to be able to work with old friends🙏 Huge thanks to to take the chance with our crazy ideas. Live on social and digital billboards all around.

Second film in the series follows the lifeguard candidates on thier first open water course. Since they are green, the course is situated on a east facing beach that provide little to no swell. During the 3 days the candidates must pass a 2 km swim, freedive to 10 meters in a harbour, perform a 200 m run, 200 m swim, 200 meter run with a time limit. Beside the athletic aspect, candidates must learn to use a plethora of rescue equipment while navigating different scenarios, like search for bodies under water, treat and stabilize spinal injuiries in water or prepare a landing zone for the assisting air ambulance. Once the candidates have passed 2nd course, they are titled open water lifeguard. In a year they start two new courses to finally become surf lifeguards.

New work for TrygFonden Surf Lifesaving Denmark. First in a series of films about the exstensive education of the new surf lifeguards. It takes two years to gain the internationally acclaimed Surf Lifeguard title which requires great physical and mental performance. Some drills will require participants to stay submerged for 60 secounds and then dive a full length in the pool. Others, you have to dive to 5 meters, put on fins and mask and enter the surface with everything mounted right and a clear mask. During the producting we had one guy pass out under water. - puts it into perspective. Live on TrygFondens socials channels soon.
