❄️ Winter weekend in Lithuania

Sometimes you just need to go back for a moment.

A few weeks ago I traveled through Kaunas, Vilnius, and Trakai, and suddenly winter looked exactly how I remember it from childhood.

Frozen lakes you can walk on.
Snow everywhere.
Cold air that wakes you up instantly.

After many years living in Denmark, seeing this much snow again felt like stepping into old memories — the kind that bring a smile without even trying.

And of course… I had my camera with me.

These photos are little fragments of that weekend.

❄️ After many years living in Denmark… I finally experienced real winter magic again.

Frozen lakes.
Crunchy snow under the boots.
That silence that only white landscapes can create.

I had never walked on a frozen lake in Denmark. First timer.
And honestly? It felt like stepping into a childhood memory.

I haven’t seen this much snow in a long time. And I LOVE these white winters.
Yes, it’s cold. Very cold.
But wow… it’s unbelievably beautiful.

And guess what I took with me?
Not a beast. Not a high-end megapixel monster.

Just my tiny Panasonic Lumix FZ38.

A small camera. Almost like a toy.
More for practicing artistry than chasing perfection.

The files are not perfect.
The dynamic range fights me.
The edits don’t always behave.

But somehow… that’s exactly why I needed it.

Sometimes you don’t take the “best” camera.
You take the one that reminds you why you started.

To look closer.
To slow down.
To remember what has been forgotten.

Winter in Denmark hit different this time 🤍✨

❄️ 𝐒𝐍𝐎𝐖. 𝐈𝐍. 𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐇𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐍. 🏰
It came suddenly, like a whisper from another world… and I was so ready for it.

You know that feeling when the city pauses?
When everything gets muffled and soft even your own thoughts slow down?
That was today. Snowflakes falling like blessings. No rush. Just presence.

And me? I was out there with my Fuji X-T2 (yep, again Fuji 😅) capturing it all like a kid in a fairytale.

I swear this camera is something out of this world!
It renders the city like it’s part of a dream…
and honestly, that’s how Copenhagen felt today.
Shoutout to my buddy Niels Gether for joining the snowy wander — it’s always better with good company ☃️

🚶‍♂️💨 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴… 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴.

I’ve been chasing the language of roads lately.
Those long lines, quick crossings, quiet curves… the in-between moments that hold so much motion and mood.

Shot through train windows, overpasses, busy crossings. Glimpses. Ghosts.
And somehow, all of it feels like a mirror of the mind — always on the move, even when standing still.

There’s something magical in photographing movement without needing to freeze it.
Blur, grain, light streaks — I don’t fight them. I let them speak.

Anyway — this is me, on the road again.

📸 Just gave the Fuji X-T2 a proper spin — this time, the one I got for my brother. I wasn’t expecting much… but wow. The way this camera renders color and light has that crisp, analog depth I didn’t realize I missed.

The Fuji handled it with charm. Now I’m debating… do I need a fourth fuji camera for myself? Or maybe swap my X-E3 for X-T2? 🤔

For now, here’s a taste of Copenhagen in the winter light — a bit gritty, a bit festive, a lot of soul. Let me know which one speaks to you 👇

As the days grow shorter and everything slows down, there’s a special kind of calm in the air.

Christmas is near, the light will soon start to return, and a new year is quietly getting ready to begin.

Last year I made a small series of mindfulness calendars — some for the wall, some for the desk.
I didn’t expect them to spread the way they did, and it meant a lot to see them living in so many homes.

A few people asked if I would make another one, and a friend’s gentle nudge finally convinced me to continue.

So here it is:

🍂 Fredensborg in Fall — shot with a pocket-sized poet 🎞️✨

Autumn — that soft goodbye wrapped in golden light and crunchy footsteps.

We wandered around Fredensborg Palace Slot, where every alley felt like a slow-motion painting.

Colors shifting. Clouds brewing. And that royal kind of silence you only get when nature and architecture agree to hold their breath together.

I shot these on the Olympus Stylus 1 — a camera that fits in your palm, but sees with surprising depth.
You don’t need the fanciest gear to feel the world.
Sometimes it’s the small tools that teach you how to look again. 🍁📷

🖤 Playing with Medium Format

So… I got my hands on a Phase One 645 + P30+ — and let’s just say, it’s a whole different beast. 👀📸
It’s not about snapping. It’s about slowing down, feeling the weight, listening to the light.
Autofocus? Hmm… let’s call it “meditative manual practice” for now 😅

These frames are from a short walk — just me and my friend, the camera, and some stubborn Danish sunlight.
Still figuring out how this camera sees… but there’s something really beautiful about not knowing yet. 💭✨
