Take a ride up river to Goðafoss "waterfall of the god" in Iceland. There is an interesting myth about where the name was conceived written on Wikipedia. It was claimed that after "lawspeaker Thorgeir Ljosvetningagodi made Christianity the official religion of Iceland in year 999" he then threw the Norse gods statues into the waterfall. My guess is that Odin wouldn't have stood for that, so most likely it is pure fiction.
